We are parents who have lost a child. Miscarriage/still-birth/early infant and child loss. Through our events we promote our mission statement of CARE. Compassion, Awareness, Remembrance, Education. We work directly with families enduring a loss of their child and are committed to building a support system for those going through the devastation of losing their child. Minnesota Inner City Outings (MN ICO), part of the North Star Chapter of the Sierra Club, provides inner city youth with an introduction to outdoor adventures including dayhikes, backpacking, canoeing, camping, and skiing. In conjunction with community agencies, MN ICO leads small groups of youth on, what is for many, their first outdoor experience. After a great start in November, Healing Chants, Kirtan, and Lullabies Singing Workshop is officially launched.  Each month we meet, you'll get to sing healing chants from around the world.  No experience necessary.  All songs are taught the traditional way, orally, by call and response. And we have live accompaniment! This is a group where we can make a difference by doing something beneficial for various causes all while hanging our with great people. Events will range from happy hours, golf outings, a 5k fun run, and even a black tie formal gala. The proceeds will vary by event but include non-profits such as Prevent Child Abuse MN, Enviromental Improvement initiatives, People Serving People Homeless Shelter, etc.
